As cinemas reopen their days after a long hiatus today, moviegoers from the same household will now be allowed to sit in pairs.

This according to posts on the official Facebook pages of GSC and TGV - two of the biggest cinema chains in the country.

Although booking and buying tickets for your favourite movies are encouraged online, proof of documentation that you are indeed going to be seated with a member of the same family/household, will be required as you enter the cinema hall, the posts added.

This is as per requirements from the authorities.

For the solo flyers, you will also get to enjoy two seats for the price of one, as the seat next to you will be automatically blocked, due to COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).
