All Malaysians can also stream live Thaipusam coverage via digital platform Astro Ulagam.

Viewers can enjoy live Thaipusam coverage of special prayers from local and international temples including the Thaneermalai temple in Penang, the Kallumalai temple in Ipoh, Palani and Thiruthani temples in India, as well as Murugan temples in Sri Lanka and Mauritius on Astro Vaanavil HD (Ch 201), Astro Vinmeen HD (Ch 231) and on Astro GO, while all Malaysians can stream the same via Astro Ulagam.

Additionally, customers can also enjoy local devotional programmes premiering on Astro Vaanavil HD (Ch 201) and Astro Vinmeen HD (Ch 231) including:

Kathirvel Kaakka Live, a variety show hosted by Nathiya Jayabalan featuring puranic stories, temple documentaries, devotional songs performed by local artistes, traditional dance performances including ‘Mayillattam’ and ‘Urumi Melam’ performances.

Devotional telemovie, Ahmuvan directed by popular local filmmaker Sandosh Kesavan, starring Mohan Raj, Pashini Sivakumar and Thashra.
