The lass from Klang, Selangor, is one of the 38 trainees who were presented with Flight Wings at a recent ceremony at the Air Force College in Alor Setar, Kedah, on Oct 9.
Of the 38, eight are fighter pilots, 15 are prospective pilots, and 15 are helicopter pilots, a recent statement by the RMAF said. All of them will serve in the three branches of the Malaysian Armed Forces, namely RMAF, the army, and the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM).
Lohappriya's impressive achievement is the culmination of more than five and a half years of hard work.
She had successfully completed her degree at National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM) and received the honours from the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V, in 2018.
The literal high flyer is being praised by Malaysians of all races on social media, for her achievement.
I don't know her but I am proud of her achievement, as a Malaysian and as a woman.
