Kuala Lumpur, 26 February 2021 – Astro customers can enjoy the premiere of Sivanthu Pochi Nenje local Tamil suspense crime thriller series, premiering on 1 March on Astro Vinmeen HD (Ch 231), Astro GO, and On Demand.
This 23-episode gripping series is a story about the fragility of marriage and the darkness of deception and stars renowned local artists including Krithigah Nair, Karnan Gcrack, Devaraj, Vidyadarrshinni Rukumangathan, Pushpa Narayanan, Shabby, Renny Martin, and Eswar Ji. Sivanthu Pochi Nenje, is the debut series for the director, Naavin Samrat.
The series revolves around Anjana who is married to Lingesh. Lingesh’s behavior and lifestyle choices affect their marriage leaving Anjana feeling betrayed and sinking into depression. She eventually becomes a lecturer at a private college where she meets Yashwin, a final-year student who is forced to comply with Anjana’s advances. Yashwin is in love with Yazhini and feels uncomfortable with Anjana’s behavior. Additionally, Lingesh gets suspicious of his wife’s behavior. Anjana’s complex web of deceit starts to unravel and destroys everyone’s lives.
