'Master' is a 2021 action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi along with a huge star cast.

Initially, the film was scheduled to hit the cinemas in 2020, but due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown in India, the makers decided to postpone the release until after the opening of theaters.

Finally, fans were in for a treat for Pongal 2021, as Master was released on 13 Jan 2021, just a day before the festival. The film received mixed reviews with critics praising Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi's performance in the film.

Ever since the announcement of the film, the songs and posters have been trending on social media. Now, the views of Master's teaser which was released a few months back have surpassed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion's Telugu version trailer.

The video is the most viewed teaser in South India at the moment with a view count of 64,252,430 (as of 23rd Feb 2021).
