Simple Home Remedies for Backache

The back needs to be properly taken care of to maintain a good quality of life

Most people do not pay any attention to their back until it starts to hurt. Most of the time, the pain will worsen if proper attention or care isn't given. So if you are experiencing a backache, you could give the tips below a go.

1. Heat camphor and coconut oil for 5 minutes. Let it cool and store in a bottle. Massage the area with oil before going to sleep.

2. Massage the area with mustard oil (gingerly oil) an hour before taking a hot shower.

3. Drink a glass of warm milk with a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of honey. Drink it regularly to get rid of any body pain. Bonus: It will also get rid of coughs and cold too.

4. Add ginger to coffee or tea, it will help to lower the chances of getting a backache because it relaxes the muscle.

5. Take a tube sock and fill it with rice (make sure the end of the sock is securely tied). Heat in the microwave for 3 to 5 minutes, and place it on the area where it hurts. It is an alternative to the hot water bottle.

6. Adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil to hot water and bathing with it helps to relax the muscles.
