1. Mahesh Babu

Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Mahesh Babu made his debut in Telugu cinema at the tender age of four. His dad Krishna is also an actor, producer and director in Telugu cinemas.

2. Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is of mixed origin as her mother is from Kerala while her father hails from Andhra Pradesh. Being born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, she made her movie debut in Gautham Menon's critically acclaimed Telugu film 'Ye Maaya Chesave'. 

3. Prabhas

Baahubali fame Prabhas was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to a famous film producer Suryanarayana Raju. He started his movie career in Telugu cinemas in the year 2002. 

4. Ramya Krishnan

Originated from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Ramya Krishnan joined Tamil cinema at the age of 13. Two years later, she made her debut in the Telugu movie Bhale Mithrulu. To date, she has acted in over 200 films in five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

5. Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to producer Allu Aravind. He made his debut into Telugu cinema as a child artist and currently he has over 1.25 crore followers on Facebook.

6. Shruti Haasan

Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kamal Hassan's daughter Shruti Hassan started her career in Tamil cinema and made her Telugu debut in January 2011. Apart from acting, she has also won Film fare award for best female playback singer in both Tamil and Telugu.

7. Akkineni Nagarjuna

Akkineni Nagarjuna was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to the famous veteran actor Nageswara Rao. He started acting in Telugu movies since a young age and have acted in quite a number of Tamil movies. He is married to Amala, a prominent actress who worked on Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Bollywood films.

8. Sridevi

Recently deceased Padmashri Sridevi was born in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. She started acting in the age of four in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films, and received Kalasaraswathi Award by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1997 for her immense contribution in the Telugu cinema.

9. Rana Dagubbati

Rana was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to Telugu film producer Daggubati Suresh Babu. In 2010, he made his debut in the Telugu blockbuster 'Leader' and won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut in South. Besides Tollywood, Rana also acts in Kollywood and Bollywood movies.

10. Ram Charan

Ram Charan was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to prominent Telugu actor Chiranjeevi. He joined the Telugu cinema in the year 2007 and is one of the highest paid actors in Tollywood.
