Generally, cancer is one of the most dangerous disease but colon cancer is the scariest because it develops slowly and silently!

Although the official cure for cancer is still in the making, identifying the colon cancer at the initial stage gives a higher chance for survival.

This is because there are large number of potential natural remedies that can either slow down the development of tumors or prevent the spread of cancer cells. Then, these tumors can be easily killed through chemotherapy or removed with a surgery.

The exact cause of colon cancer is not known. Some of the risk factors for colon cancer involve a family history, diet, alcohol intake, smoking and inflammatory bowel disease.

Astro Ulagam found some of the common symptoms of colon cancer that you need to watch out!

1) Change in bowel habits

Constipation, diarrhea, narrowing of stools, incomplete evacuation and bowel incontinence.

2) Blood on or in the stool

By far the most noticeable of all the signs but it does not necessarily indicate cancer, since numerous other problems including hemorrhoids, anal tears, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, iron and some foods such as beets can give the stool a black or red appearance.

3) Unexplained anemia

If you are anemic, you may experience shortness of breath. You may also feel tired and sluggish, so much so that rest does not make you feel any better.

4) Abdominal pain or bloating

Excessive pain and bloating without improvements.

5) Unexplained weight loss

You seem to lose lots of weight without physical exercise or diet. This weight loss is quite extreme and does not make you look or feel healthy.

6) Vomiting

The blocked intestine leads to frequent vomiting.
