It's seems like Hollywood is getting more and more interested in Rajinikanth.

First, Star Wars screenwriter, Gary Whitta, had nothing but praises earlier this month for the film, "2.0", encouraging his fans to watch it for its special effects and songs.

Now, Hollywood actor Bill Duke, has reached out to director, A.R. Murugadoss, for a chance to act with the Superstar in "Darbar". Clearly aware of his limitations, Duke suggested that he could be Rajinikanth's "long lost cousin" or "Nayanthara's uncle".

Duke is a successful actor in his own right, having acted in hit films such as "Commando" and "Predator" with Arnold Schwarzenegger, "X-Men- The Last Stand" and directed several television series including "The Twilight Zone" and "American Playhouse".

Murugadoss obviously knew who the actor was because he replied to the tweet, shocked that the actor knew about the film. He tweeted, " Sirrrrrr..? Is it really you?"

Murugadoss revealed in his latest interview that the film will only be wrapped up by the end of August.

The second schedule, which is currently underway in Mumbai, will go on till the end of June in which major action sequences will be shot. Prateik Babbar, who plays one of the film's antagonists, has joined the sets for the second schedule.

Murugadoss was impressed by Prateik in "Baaghi 2" and decided to cast him as the son of the villain in the film.

Prateik spoke to Mumbai Mirror about the chance to act with the Superstar, revealing himself to be a fan, "It has been my aspiration to share screen space with a legend like Rajinikanth sir. I can't wait to meet him and observe him on set. I have been appreciated for my characters with grey shades and I am investing my 200 percent in this role because it's an opportunity of a lifetime."

We'll have to wait and see if Duke will also have a chance to be in "Darbar".
