12-Hour Chitra Pournami LIVE Updates From Sri Thendayuthapani Temple, Teluk Intan!

Chitra Pournami is a famous celebration among Hindus, which is celebrated during the full moon in the first month of the Tamil calendar, known as Chittirai month. This year Chitra Pournami falls on the 29th April 2018. 

Although the celebration is observed in various parts of Malaysia, yet the Sri Thendayuthapani Temple at Teluk Intan, also known as Malaysia's Palani Andavar has the grandest celebration of all. 

Similar to Thaipusam and Pangguni Uthiram that's widely celebrated across the nation, the devotees take paal kudam and kavadis during Chitra Pournami to complete their vows and to get the blessing of their beloved Lord Muruga.
